Tragedy strikes a Pacific Northwest native community when Jimmy Hill
mysteriously vanishes at sea. His sister Lisamarie sets off alone in
search of him. Her voyage takes her through the Douglas Channel
towards Monkey Beach, a shore famous for its Sasquatch sightings.
There she deals with Haisla and Heiltsuk lore, the haunting
spirituality of the setting, and her own private loss.
