Synopsis Visit the Festival du Voyageur in St. Boniface, Manitoba, the French quarter of Winnipeg. This winter festival celebrates the Voyageurs through an educational program and fun activities. Dancing, music, food and history are all part of the Festival. The video is ideal for teachers whose curriculum includes the life of the Voyageurs and Métis traditions. The 33 page activity book includes teaching suggestions, script, pre-viewing questions, vocabulary, sentence completions while viewing the video, post-viewing activities, crossword puzzle, topics for research and presentation, answers.
