Synopsis Adventure begins when Grandma takes her two grandchildren out for a fishing trip on the lake. After showing the kids how to prepare for the trip and what clothes to wear, they enjoy a day of jigging in the ice. By the end of the day, the kids have learned how to drill and clear holes in the ice, how to make a traditional Inuit jigging rod, what lures to use, how to jig, and how to pull in fish once they are hooked. And now, they can all look forward to a yummy meal of Arctic char. This is a teaching story containing much factual information.
