Synopsis Pollinator species are declining, which has a significant negative impact on our global food supply. Climate change, pesticides and urban development are largely to blame for the decline of insect biodivesity in Canada. Did you know that in BC there are more than 500 species of native bee! Unfortunately, students and most adults alike are naive towards how beautful, important and interesting their lifestyle and colonies are. This kit will give you the specimens and information necessay to dig into local pollinator diversity with your students, and the enrichment potential to look at how we can help these important creatures.
